About the Owner

Jan's passion for designing and creating the finest in gold and gemstone jewelry began when she started working for a custom jeweler while attending the University of Minnesota School of Fine Arts. After 20 years, she bought the business from her former boss, desiring to continue with her passion for creative, service-oriented jewelry design.

For 39 years, she has demonstrated her immense talent. Her clients span the United States and she is well known for her workmanship, her exquisite design ideas, her bubbly personality and her commitment to excellence. At Jannie Bean Designs, her original designs include custom-made gemstone buckles for belts and handbags, bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings, pins, maximum bracelets and pendants.
